What To Expect at Unite Church

Whether you’ve never stepped foot into a church or you are looking for a place to call home, you are welcome here. But we know going into a new environment can sometimes be uncomfortable. You might be wondering “what do I wear?” and “what will the people be like?” So we want to paint a picture of our weekend experience and answer any questions you might have.

What are the service times?

We meet Sunday's at 9AM.

Visitor Parking

As you arrive, you will see Unite Church parking signs directing you where to go. First, try the parking lot north of the church. If the lot is full, you will be directed to street parking. We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to service in order to get the best spot! Our main church entrance is on the north side of the church. There will be signs to help you find your way! If you are disabled, someone from our team will gladly assist you. We are here to make your visit go as smoothly as possible.

CONNECTION CORNER

Our Connection Corner is a great place to start your visit! We would love to meet you and your family. It would be our privilege to walk you on a quick tour, help get your kids checked in (if you have kids), and help you feel right at home. Look for the Connection Corner straight ahead as you walk in the lobby. There will be a smiling face there as soon as you walk up!

What are the services like?

In a nutshell, we hope that you see or experience four things when attending Unite Church: practical teaching, passionate worship, personal interactions, and powerful prayer. We design our services to enrich your life, challenge you spiritually, and connect you to others who are passionate about what God is doing at Unite Church. Authentic, heartfelt, motivating, and inspiring are just a few words that describe our weekend services.

What style of sermon WILL I HEAR?

Pastor Jeff (and other rotating speakers) communicates with a clear, yet motivating style. Each weekend you'll find the message scripture-based, easy to understand, and applicable to everyday life.

What kind of music can I expect?

Our music style will vary by week. Here at Unite, we value diversity therefore we strive to display all types of music and art within our service. One week, you might hear contemporary praise music, one week gospel, and one week an acoustic set-up. You might also hear a spoken word piece or see someone painting an art piece on stage. We hope to create a culture that celebrates uniqueness and is passionate about worshipping God in many different ways.

What kind of people will I see?

We hope every kind. Our desire is for people of different walks and backgrounds to come together. Unfortunately, Sunday is the most segregated day of the week, but we want to be the change agent in mending divides among our community and world. At Unite Church, you will find people who will love and support you no matter what you look like or what you have been through.

What should i wear?

There is no rule here! You can come as fancy as you want or in shorts and a t-shirt! We don't care. But if you are interested, most of our people dress somewhere in the middle... jeans and a nice shirt. Feel free to come as you are!

Do you have something for my kids?

AGE 2-11 - Yes! Your kids matter to us, so we have some of the best Kids Directors around leading our team every week. Not only do we value their safety as much as you do, but we also understand the fun factor. UniteKids is a dynamic environment designed just for your children (age 2-11)! While you’re in service, rest assured, your kids will experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way.

AGE 0-2 - For parents with babies age 0-2, we have a Parent Lounge available for you. This room is separate from the auditorium but has a large glass window to see inside and a speaker to hear what is happening in service. There are age appropriate toys, bouncers, and even a crib if you want to put your little one down for a nap.

Do you have something for my older kids?

During our Sunday service, we ask that 7th-12th grade students attend. During the week, we encourage your older kids to be a part of one of our student small groups.

I still have more questions, who can I contact?

If you have other questions we have not addressed, please contact support@unitepasadena.com and we will get you the answers you are looking for. We hope to see you Sunday!
