Reading Your Bible

The Bible tells us the truth of who God is and helps guide us in life. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step. Sometimes it can feel like a huge task, I mean it is a pretty big book, but do not be discouraged- it is divided into chapters and verses, and it is not a one time read!

Just 10 Minutes A Day

10 minutes a day is doable, right? Reading the Bible for just 10 minutes a day can have a positive ripple effect in all aspects of your life. It will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the everyday issues you’re facing. The Bible is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time.

You can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. It’s impossible. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. And it gives us practical ways to follow God’s plan on a daily basis.

Where Do I Start?

Download the "Unite Church" App

It is a free App. The Unite Church App allows you to read the Bible, follow along with our personalized reading plans, listen over audio, and more. Download this App and begin to read along with our church.

If you prefer reading in hard copy, Pastor Jeff recommends starting with the book of John, reading for 5-8 minutes and reflecting or writing for the remaining time.  The book of Romans and James are tied for books that Pastor Jeff recommends reading next.
